“Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.”–Sharon Begley, often attributed to Carl Sagan

Jordan began her career in education by becoming a science educator at the Science Museum of Western Virginia. There, she developed her teaching skills in an informal teaching environment where she could follow her passion for science and instill that passion in others. Previously, Jordan studied biology at the University of Virginia, where she was also an active member of the marching band and Tau Beta Sigma sorority. She loves music and reading, and believes that making a terrible mess is an integral part of being a scientist. In the future, Jordan expects to bring her experience with hands-on science to a high school classroom.
